01 · The Group

A British industrial group,
built by acquisition.

An independent British group

Sovereign Industrial Group is a UK-based acquisition holding group focused on advanced manufacturing businesses operating in aerospace, automotive, defence and AI-enabled industrial technology.

We seek out companies with genuine engineering capability, established customer relationships and solid revenues — businesses that have built something real, but where the next chapter requires fresh thinking, stronger operational grip or a considered change of ownership.

We are experienced operators, not passive investors. When we acquire a business, we bring hands-on leadership, deep sector knowledge and a long-term commitment to building sustainable value.

Our model is simple and repeatable: buy well, fix operationally, scale through integration, and compound value over the long term.

Origin
An acquisition-led group
Founded by David Roberts to consolidate the UK's fragmented precision-manufacturing base into a single, disciplined industrial platform.
2026
Board strengthened
Steve Norris appointed Chairman of Sovereign Industrial Group; Neil Marsons joins the Board — deepening the Group's industrial, procurement and public-sector experience.
2026
Aerospace platform added
North West Precision acquired as a going concern — Airbus-qualified machining, tooling and assembly join the Group alongside its automotive base.
Today
A multi-sector platform
Six UK locations and 900+ people across aerospace and automotive manufacturing, generating circa £160m in revenues.

We build on a deep tradition of British engineering — the aerospace, automotive and precision-manufacturing heritage that still defines the businesses we acquire and the standards we hold them to.

AutomotiveBritish vehicle assembly — body, chassis and final line.
PrecisionHard-won craft in high-integrity machined components.
